The historic Avalon Inn is the center of the CIAR experience. The Avalon (built in 1909) is perched on the southeastern side of Cuttyhunk, with stunning views of Buzzards Bay and Martha's Vineyard. Residents stay in wood-paneled bedrooms, eat communal meals in the dining room, and use the Avalon's common rooms and porch as their studio space and jumping off point to explore the island.

 

Residency rates are based on whether you choose a private or shared room rooms (see photos below).  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included, cooked by our staff and wonderful chef teams.
